Sustainable Products & Markets
As an experienced climate and land use expert working with businesses in the sustainable and natural products market, I serve as a bridge between producers, enterprises and communities who are protecting forests and other ecosystems and the rapidly growing markets, companies, and consumers who are demanding products that have positive environmental and social impacts.
With a background in tropical ecology and over 25 years of experience in Latin America I offer insight, not only what sustainability looks like on the package, but also what it looks like on the ground.
Sustainable forest products, including tropical food crops and non-timber products, provide social and environmental benefits for communities, but they need buyers and markets that recognize and value superior products and production systems. Ecosophy is working in paid and pro-bono partnerships to foster a sustainable bioeconomy by bridging the supply and demand sides of the rapidly expanding market for high-quality and socially beneficial sustainable products.
